Pretty Simple Music with Kevin Conley
This week Kevin Conley released a new video series on his “Pretty Simple Music” website. I really like a lot of Kevin’s stuff and was first introduced to his style and playing with the “Unlocking the Keys” DVD that is also quite popular. I figured I couldn’t go wrong at all by picking up these videos. Kevin is a very inspirational player and whether his teachings are simple or advanced, they always inspire me and provide different perspectives on playing the keys.
Kevin really has a superb teaching style and is most notable for providing explanations that stick and get you creating music right away. Things seem to just make sense when Kevin explains it. Although I just now bought the videos, I haven’t watched them yet other than what you see on the Youtube example below. My experience with “Unlocking the Keys” no doubt influenced me to pull the trigger on this series and I’m quite confident I’ll get some nice stuff out of it. Thanks for the info. Just bought series one now from his site. FYI: the prices listed at the end of the video are different than those on the site. The actual prices are a bit cheaper (series one is only $9 as a digital download). Can’t wait to get started.
